Security Officers/Patrol Drivers
Security officers can be assigned to a wide range of roles within an assortment of security services, depending primarily on prior background and training.
For these full-time and part-time hourly positions, we recruit outstanding individuals over the age of 18 who possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Supervisory roles are filled through the promotion of full-time Security Officers, or by employing applicants with appropriate and extensive supervisory experience.
Human Resources Specialists
This position is responsible for recruiting, screening, selecting and preparing security personnel for assignment in each office. Successful applicants must hold a degree from a four-year college or university. Demonstrated experience in human resources or organizational behavior is a plus.
This is a hands-on management position, which entails handling client relationships, working with security officers, and managing customer service at multiple sites.
Achates recruits four-year college or university graduates for this role. Military or law enforcement experience and/or a CPP designation is a plus.
Quality Assurance Managers
This role involves similar responsibilities to the Account Manager’s, but is dedicated to the oversight of several Account Managers, Field Supervisors and their client sites.
Candidates are often promoted from Account Manager, recruited with military or law enforcement experience or a CPP accreditation in addition to a degree, or may be business school graduates with fewer years of work experience.
Administration / Professional / Executive
We periodically have openings for positions in departments such as marketing, finance and accounting, administrative services, recruiting, and human resources.
These positions may require a four-year college or university degree; other related work experience may be substituted according to specific job descriptions.
We also occasionally employ team members for administrative functions, for which qualifications vary by position.
